Teaching History: A Journal of Methods (1976-) is an open-access journal serving historians and history teachers.
Since 1976, our articles have emphasized the use of primary and secondary sources in classrooms and the impact of specific strategies and practices on student learning.
Founded by Stephen Kneeshaw, Loren Pennington, and Philip Reed Rulon a, Teaching History’s purpose has been to provide teachers at all levels with the best and newest ideas for their classrooms.
The journal is published twice yeParly, in the spring and in the fall.
